Application of molecularly imprinted solid‐phase extraction coupled with liquid chromatography method for detection of penicillin G in pasteurised milk samples

In the present study, a polymeric powder, synthesised using methacrylic acid as functional monomer and ethylene glycol dimethacrylate cross-linker, was used highly selective sorbent in molecularly imprinted solid-phase extraction cartridge to extract penicillin G from milk samples. Detection performed high performance liquid chromatography. The proposed method determine matrix range of 3–1000 ng/mL (limit detection 2 ng/mL) with relative recoveries 81–90% (relative standard deviation 2.14–4.35%).
